Surviving the Rut: 50k of Rocks, Elevation and Views

Like the name hints, this is one wild race that requires a mix of mental and physical fortitude to tackle the high elevation, scree-laden trails and dramatic ascents. Plus, after you cross the finish line runners have the option of grabbing a free tattoo or mohawk. Just do it.
