About Me

It's really all about stories. Throughout history, when people communicate effectively they have had the opportunity to change the world: sway hearts, win elections and inspire revolutions. Beyond buzzwords exists the simple, human truth: we all love ideas that speak to our heart and mind, no matter if they are read from a blog, or from a chiseled slab of stone.

This is why I speak and write about storytelling, marketing, communications, and have a career in the field. Sharing good stories is powerful work.

When I'm not finding creative ways to tell stories, I use my time to explore the outdoors by trail running, hiking, mountaineering, cycling, and filmmaking or really anything that gets me out into wild. I've run dozens of marathons and ultramarathons.
